David Mulder is a PhD candidate in the History of Art at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on ancient Mesopotamia and Iran, with particular interests in glyptic and terracottas of the third and early second millennia BCE. He is currently preparing a dissertation on animal imagery in the Early Dynastic period.
