Annunziata Rositani is Associate Professor of Assyriology and History of the Ancient Near East (L-OR/03) at the Dipartimento di Civiltà Antiche e Moderne (DICAM) of the Università deli Studi di Messina. Her main field of research is the Old Babylonian cuneiform texts. In particular, texts dealing with the organization of agricultural work and the herd management (A. Rositani, Harvest Texts in the British Museum, Rivista di Studi Orientali 2011; A. Rositani, Strumenti per la gestione dell’allevamento nella Mesopotamia paleo-babilonese: le etichette, SUD. Altri Studi Assiriologici Messinesi 2, 2019). Recently she studied also the wisdom literature from ancient Mesopotamia (A. Rositani, Rīm-Anum Texts in the British Museum, NISABA.
